So How Do You Evaluate This Opportunity?
As with any opportunity, the six areas to investigate are:
- The Product
- The Industry
- The Company
- Market Timing
- The Compensation Plan
- The Specific Team You're Joining
Each of these is discussed in turn below. Of course, at any time you can “cut to the chase” and give me or one of my sales associates a call for further information. Here are our telephone numbers:
- 1 603 842-2968 – my cell phone
- 1 866 964-9025 ext 476 (=GRN) – 24-hour recorded message
- 1 800 262-3312 ID CJ833 – my sales staff
All right, then. Let's see how this opportunity measures up.
1. The Product
This was actually the main reason I signed up with Global Resorts Network. Even if I didn't make a dime from the opportunity, it is a product that I wanted to use, myself.
And what is the product? It is membership in a worldwide network of luxury timeshare properties. I travel frequently and am always looking for lower-cost alternatives to hotels. In GRN I have found just that.
Do you find it odd that I am using the terms "luxury" and "lower-cost" in the same paragraph above? Again, this was what attracted me to Global Resorts Network. Membership entitles you to week-long stays at 4- and 5-star properties for as little as $298, and I have yet to see a week that costs more than $799.
Begin thinking of your own dream vacation. Click here and enter my guest login (resort) and password (lookfor).
For a family vacation, this can represent a significant savings. The alternative is to rent a hotel room (or two adjoining hotel rooms), giving you less space than the typical timeshare rental will give you. On top of that, all of your meals would have to be eaten out in restaurants, whereas timeshare rentals typically have kitchens, giving you the option of eating in at much less cost.
As an example, I recently stayed at the beautiful Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. I had a one-bedroom timeshare apartment with a master bathroom that felt larger than my first apartment out of college! (I'll post a video tour of the property shortly.) In addition to finding myself in the space of a high-end hotel suite, my meal expenses were minimal. I saved a bundle on that last trip. And it was actually a business trip, not even a vacation.
So what does this membership cost? You have two options:
- $2995 for a lifetime Platinum membership
- $1495 for a three-year Gold membership
I immediately saw the value of the Platinum lifetime membership and jumped on board. For those on more limited budgets, some choose to join at the Gold level and then later upgrade to Platinum for $2000. (Yes, you'll ultimately spend $500 more, but it may make sense for you.)
To sum this section up, all legitimate network marketing opportunities involve a product that stands on its own. In other words, there have to be people willing to purchase the product alone, without the added incentive of earning commissions. Global Resorts Network clearly fits the bill in this regard.
2. The Industry
One of my other businesses is in the health and wellness industry, and I remember being impressed that by they year 2010 it is slated to reach the one-trillion-dollar mark. Imagine my shock at learning that the travel industry is already a seven-trillion-dollar industry.
Now, the lion's share of the travel industry is airlines, hotels, and car rentals. I looked into several opportunities where you supposedly become your own travel agent, but this never made sense to me. I couldn't see myself competing with Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz.
So when I was introduced to Global Resorts Network as a niche product in this huge industry, it made much more sense.
3. The Company
Global Resorts Network is the marketing arm of a company that has been around for over 20 years. In fact, the same memberships have been sold for $10,000 and more.
Learn more about Global Resorts Network by watching the 12-minute video here.
4. Market Timing
Despite the above, Global Resorts Network is a relatively young company with a huge upside potential. GRN has been marketing the timeshare memberships only since March of 2007. I'm not usually attracted to so-called "ground-floor opportunities," but Global's affiliation with an established industry leader combines the best of both worlds, yielding perfect market timing.
5. The Compensation Plan
Now here's the best part. Global Resorts Network is especially generous with its commissions. For each $2995 Platinum membership sold, $2000 is paid out in commissions, $1000 to you and $1000 to your upline sponsor. (A $1495 Gold membership yields two $500 commissions. The rest of this discussion assumes Platinum memberships.) This means that when the people you sign up start selling their own memberships, you're the one who receives the $1000 upline payouts. Sweet.
But it gets better. Through Perpetual Leverage, you can actually earn $1000 commissions beyond your second level, on to infinity. Click on the image below to watch a video that explains this extremely lucrative compensation plan:

When I first heard about Global Resorts Network's two-level compensation plan, I was skeptical. For me, the true benefit of network marketing is the leverage of earning commissions from the efforts of the people you enroll, and the people they enroll, and the people they enroll, and so on—in other words, your downline. Paying commissions on only two levels seemed at first to indicate that I would have to continue selling and selling and selling to make money. And quite frankly, I want a network marketing opportunity to go on autopilot after three to five years of concerted effort.
With Perpetual Leverage, this is possible. If you'll notice after watching the video, your first sale yields no commission to you. Instead both $1000 commissions travel upline. Essentially, this is Perpetual Leverage in action, working at first against you, but ever afterwards for you.
I was hooked. The compensation plan clearly meets my requirements of leverage many levels deep.
6. My Team
I first heard about Global Resorts Network from a fellow associate in another venture. He joined a different team and claimed some immediate success. So I took a look. Well, his team required me to shell out $50 for an ebook before even learning what the underlying opportunity was all about. Ever curious, I headed to Google to see if I could learn more before "signing on the dotted line."
Google revealed several websites, some pro and some con. I found my sponsor's website, and in it he was very forthcoming about just what the opportunity was all about. He told me it was Global Resorts Network and that it would cost either $2995 or $1495. At least now I knew what the $50 ebook would reveal.
But my sponsor impressed me with his integrity through his YouTube videos. He even let me participate in some team trainings before I joined, and I was impressed with the quality of education I would receive. I visualized myself delivering similar education for my downline (I love to teach), so there was ultimately no choice in the matter. It was obvious which team I would join.
We met in Phoenix for team training in April of 2008, and it was great. Here's a cute YouTube video of Mark interviewing me at the conclusion of the event:
We'll be having more trainings in the months ahead. The next one is in San Francisco in October. The sooner you sign up with me, the more likely you'll be able to attend. But even if it is already sold out, there will surely be more events in the future.
So join our team. You'll have access to as much training as you can handle. You can build your GRN business in traditional ways—through your "warm market" (people you know) or "cold market" leads—or you can use personal branding through video, and other Internet marketing tips and techniques. Only on our team do you have this choice.
There has never been a better time to join GRN.
